Learning Chouette: The Social Form of Backgammon
The chouette is a variant of the popular board game backgammon. This variant of the board game is particularly peculiar as it prides itself to be the variant that serves the best social function among all of the other iterations of the game.

Instead, scores are used match after match to keep track of the players' performances. Another of chouette's unique characteristics is the position change that happens between players. If the player playing the box wins, the player would then continue playing that position until that player loses which would be the point where that player will move to the 'team' side while the captain of the team moves to the opposite side to become the new 'box'.
With the way that the variant is played tackled, it is important to bear them in mind as the variant is certain to provide one hell of a backgammon experience especially if it is played the way it is meant to be played. Aside from doing that, the excitement that can be gleaned from the playing the variant will also be guaranteed if everyone plays their respective duties in a match which is an important aspect of chouette's game play.
The chouette variant may come off as not that intense as other tournament-type variants but it is sure to appeal to players that seek to play the game of backgammon with a higher degree of interaction between players.
